All program proposals must be submitted through the CIM Program Management system in order to go through the University Governance process. The Office of University Accreditation must review all proposals prior to submission to the UCC, Graduate Council, and GWC/Faculty Senate. This review is to ensure that the proposal is complete, includes all relevant approvals and supporting documentation, meets UM policies and requirements, and complies with SACSCOC accreditation requirements. Please include sufficient time before the first governance submission deadlines to allow time for this review and for possible requests for additional information. New program proposals and significant curricular revisions may require extra time.
